Mims Woman Dies in an Accident in Volusia County

Accident in Volusia County

An off-road vehicle accident in Volusia County took place on Thursday night, killing a Mims woman. Another person was severely injured, Florida Highway Patrol reported.

The troopers responded to the accident around 10:52 p.m. on Thursday; the accident took place at the intersection of Morgan Alderman Road and State Road 46.

The ATV was operated by a fifty-seven-year-old man from Marathon. He had been traveling north on Morgan Alderman Road when he turned off the roadway and crashed a pole. The reason for the collision is unknown, troopers said.

His passenger, a twenty-six-year-old woman from Mims, was ejected from the ATV. She died in the hospital from the severity of her injuries.

Florida Highway Patrol has not released the identities of the victims.

The accident is under investigation.

Suffering a car accident is a challenging thing that would change many things in the victim’s life.

Medical treatments and expenses, lost wages, pain, and suffering, and damages are some of the most common things the victim will face.

During this time, money is more than necessary, which it is essential to hire a skilled attorney who would help you file a lawsuit and seek your compensation claim.

The liable party’s insurance company would do their own investigation and will try to find evidence against the victim (especially if they hold partial liability for the accident), so they can underpay them or even deny the claim.

This is the biggest reason why you ought to go into the process with the help of a car accident attorney.

You should never settle for less, and your lawyer would know what to do if you get a lower offer.
