Ernest Blake Crownover, the nineteen-year-old lacrosse player for Florida’s Sait Leo University, lost his life in a single-vehicle accident.
The Florida Patrol informed that the lacrosse player died on the scene, early on Wednesday.
Troopers informed that Corwnover’s vehicle, a 2018 Dodge Challenger drove off the road and onto the shoulder, where it slammed concrete support for the gantry revealing the entrance ramp sign for Interstate 75.
Crownover was the goalie for the men’s lacrosse team and a member, the U.S. Air Force ROTC.
Troopers confirmed that Crownover was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident and that there was no alcohol in his system.
